Danyang is Korea’s most famous cave region and is home to a geopark celebrated for its natural beauty. With expansive mountain ranges and canyons, it offers a range of activities, making it a prime filming spot for many variety shows. As a top destination for K-variety programs, Danyang has many hidden attractions to offer.
Nature in Danyang, enjoyed from the cliffs of the Namhangang River
This is where show host Lee Young-ja received a plaque of appreciation as an ambassador of Sobaeksan Mountain, and Jun Hyun-moo and Yoo Byung-jae gave a congratulatory performance on the TV show "Omniscient Interfering View." The spiral deck path leads up to the observatory, offering panoramic views of Danyang’s lush mountains and rivers. Visitors can also enjoy outdoor activities like ziplining and the Mancheonha slide, all while immersed in nature.

A spectacular view of the sky in Danyang
This is where the cast of "2 Days & 1 Night" tried paragliding, captivating viewers with Park Bo-gum’s joyful flight and Danyang’s breathtaking scenery that seemed almost too vast for the screen. The take-off and landing zones are operated exclusively by the company, ensuring a safe paragliding experience.

Picturesque peaks on the Namhangang River
If you watched "IDOL 1N2D" featuring ENHYPEN racing across the Namhangang River on motorboats to secure their dinner budget, you may recall the three towering peaks rising from the water. These are the Dodamsambong Peaks, one of Danyang’s Eight Scenic Views. Like ENHYPEN, you can take a motorboat or cruise for a close-up look, or enjoy the stunning views and vibrant flowers from nearby Dodam Garden.

A feast of garlic delicacies showcasing Danyang’s specialty
The market was the first stop for ENHYPEN members when they traveled to Danyang in their show "SO SO FUN." Danyang’s garlic specialties, like garlic-stuffed tteokgalbi (grilled galbi patties), dakgangjeong (deep-fried and braised chicken), and mandus, attract tourists year-round.
