Job Opening: Temporary Local Staff – Korea Tourism Organization, Sydney Office The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Sydney Office is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Temporary Local Staff Member. This position is to cover a temporary vacancy and offers a unique opportunity to be part of Korea’s national tourism organization. Position Details: Position Title: Temporary Local Staff Employment Type: Casual Worker for a fixed term Duration: July 17, 2025 – October 10, 2025 (three months) Location: KTO Sydney Office (Level 18, 264 George Street, Sydney, NSW) Key Responsibilities: Assist with B2C and B2B marketing activities promoting travel to Korea Support public relations and social media campaigns Coordinate events, fairs, and promotional programs Provide administrative and translation support Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications: Australian permanent resident or citizen, or legally eligible to work in Australia Excellent command of both English and Korean (written and spoken) Strong interest in tourism marketing and Korean culture Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office software Ability to work independently and in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in tourism, PR, or marketing Knowledge of Korean content creation and social media trends Salary & Conditions: Hourly Rate: AUD 30.13 (including casual loading) (This rate includes compensation for leave entitlements such as annual leave and sick leave in accordance with casual employment standards in Australia.)
