Made based on the webtoon of the same name, “Itaewon Class (2020)” is a drama depicting young people who runs a business in an irrational world. At the time of airing, it caused “Park Saeroyi syndrome” in Korea, and proved its popularity overseas as it was remade in Japan.

The place that appeared most frequently in “Itaewon Class” was “DANBAM,” a food stall run by Park Saeroyi (played by Park Seo-joon). Originally a lamb skewer restaurant, this space was turned into a food stall for the drama, and viewers say that it reproduced the original webtoon 200%. Although the drama is over, “DANBAM” lives on here, operating under the name of SEOUL BAM where you can even taste the food from the series.

This building, covered in graffiti of the names of cities from around the world, is the place where Park Saeroyi (played by Park Seo-joon) and Jo Yi-seo (played by Kim Da-mi) first met. In the series, it appears under the name of “Bogwang Gosiwon.” Currently, it is operated as a guesthouse and the rooftop offers a panoramic view of N Seoul Tower and Itaewon.

This is the place where Park Saeroyi and Jo Yi-seo enjoyed a date and took pictures after ending their revenge on Chairman Jang (played by Yoo Jae-myung). Various graffiti are drawn on the wall next to the stairs, but the angel wings are the most representative one. Follow the two main characters and take a selfie against the angel wings.

It is an overpass that appears most often in the series after DANBAM. Park Saeroyi and Jo Yi-seo meet on this overpass, and it is also a place where Park Saeroyi is often lost in thought. It is popular as a photo spot and went viral as a filming location. At night, you can see N Seoul Tower and the splendid night view of Seoul.

This is the place where Jang Geun-soo (played by Kim Dong-hee) apologized to Saeroyi. The scene where the person who followed Park Saeroyi secretly under Chairman Jang’s order to take a picture and was caught by detective Yoon was filmed here. In the park, there are playground rides such as a black bear slide, seesaw, swing, and benches to sit and relax.

This is the place where Park Saeroyi and Jo Yi-seo created a heart-throbbing moment where they kissed. The kissing scene was filmed on the road between the entrance of Namsan Park (towards Sungnyemun Gate) and Baekbeom Plaza. Baekbeom Plaza in Namsan Park is a great place to take a walk where you can see the N Seoul Tower and the Hanyangdoseong Seoul Fortress Wall. In fall, it is colored with crimson and golden leaves, making it a popular spot for autumn foliage. Enjoy a leisurely walk and go up to N Seoul Tower, the filming location of popular dramas such as “My Love from the Star (2013)” and “Boys Over Flowers (2009).”
