Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the Dream Concert will be held on the 19th of October at the Goyang Stadium. Known as the “stage of dreams” for artists due to its all-star line-up, this year’s Dream Concert will feature rising stars such as NCT WISH, TWS, KISS OF LIFE, tripleS, YENA, and Kep1er. The city of Goyang has become a Hallyu hub with a variety of K-content such as performances, exhibitions, forums, and more. Ilsan Kalguksu (Kalguksu refers to “noodle soup”) is a restaurant that has been serving only noodle soup with chicken for over 70 years. Frequented mainly by locals, it gained national fame after RM from BTS, who grew up in Goyang, said on a YouTube channel that he likes to have a bowl of noodle soup here and walk around Ilsan Lake Park. The menu shows only noodle soup with chicken, but noodle soup with clams can also be ordered, so it is recommended to try both and experience therich flavors of the meat and seafood broth.

Ilsan Lake Park is Korea’s first and largest artificial lake park and the best tourist attraction in Goyang. Covering an area of around one million square meters, the park features various attractions such as a nature education center, a small zoo, a waterfall plaza, and a singing fountain, allowing visitors to experience various charms throughout the four seasons. With several broadcasting stations such as MBC and JTBC nearby, the park is often used as a filming location for dramas and variety shows. Notable examples include Hotel Del Luna, starring IU as a lead actress, and Dream High, starring Kim Soohyun, Suzy, and Ok Taecyeon. It would be fun to walk along the paths and look for the places where the drama characters featured.

Located next to Ilsan Lake Park, ONEMOUNT is a complex theme park with a water park and snow park as its main attractions, as well as various commercial facilities such as restaurants and shopping malls. Easily accessible from Seoul and with most of its facilities indoors, it attracts visitors all year round. In the popular drama Marry My Husband, Kang Jiwon (played by Park Minyoung) and Baek Eunho (played by Lee Gikwang) enjoyed a Christmas date at ONEMOUNT’s ice rink.
