On the surface, some strained relationships can turn out to be based on love upon a closer look. In "The Good Bad Mother," the frosty relationship between the mother, Young-soon, and her prosecutor son, Kang-ho, gets an unexpected chance to mend following an unforeseen accident. Journey to Gyeongsangbuk-do, a place where any relationship can reconcile warmly.
A meadow where Kang-ho and neighborhood children often played, Hwarang Hill is touted as a prime spot for one of the best snapshots of lifetime on social media. Walk up to the cliff-end rock known as Meditation Rock, you'll see a quaint village and rice paddies stretching out below. The hilltop boasts expansive lawns and a tranquil reservoir, perfect for a peaceful landscape view. While walking and picnicking are allowed, camping and car camping are not.
A thick forest formed by densely planted ginkgo trees. In the fall, the golden ginkgo leaves color the forest. Noted as a wedding photo shoot hotspot, it's where Kang-ho found the twins' bouncy ball. As you wander through the village, read the beautiful phrases written on the walls, and capture a perfect shot amidst the ginkgo forest.
The neighborhood gathering spot in the drama where Jo-woori Village residents frequently met to share big and small news, enjoy meals together, and partake in hobbies. In reality, Sosomilmil is a warm-atmosphere cafe and bookstore located within a rural village. Housed in a wooden building with a high ceiling, it's an ideal place for peaceful reading.
A village entirely surrounded by stone walls. The poetic stone walls, traditional Korean houses, Seodang, and Triad Grotto, as well as cultural heritages from both Confucianism and Buddhism blend together, providing a uniquely Korean atmosphere. The serene rural scenery with sparse crowds warmly greets visitors. This is where Young-soon, having lost her husband, comes driving a pig truck and settles among the humane rural villagers.
