Travelers can now explore the hidden gems of Korea outside of Seoul in a more convenient manner thanks to the expansion of direct flights to regional cities, including Busan and Cheongju, without passing through Incheon or Gimpo.

Continued launch and resumption of new routes are centered on Gimhae International Airport and Cheongju International Airport, increasing flight options for travelers. Gimhae International Airport is now offering flights to and from Miyakojima, Taichung, Phu Quoc, and Kuala Lumpur. Cheongju International Airport has also strengthened connectivity with major cities by launching a new route to Shanghai. With the addition of new air routes, diverse tours and travel itineraries are expected to be offered centered on Busan and regions in Gyeongsangbuk-do and Chungheong areas.

Moreover, international flights from regional airports will operate 2,874 times a week on 98 routes across 13 regions (including China, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore) during the summer operation period (March 29-October 24).

See below for a table of major routes, both new and resuming operations, by airport and destinations.
