1 / 5Lady Suro Heonhwa Park is renowned as a prime location for sunrise viewing. According to legend, in the 8th Century, Lady Suro, celebrated for her beauty, was abducted by a dragon from the sea. The locals sang a song pleading for her release, and as the legend goes, Lady Suro was miraculously returned to land. This song, known as the Haega (Song of the Sea), is commemorated by the park. Starting from Imwon Port in Samcheok, it takes approximately 20 minutes on foot to reach the park's summit.
