Hwaseong Fortress Tourist Trolley
The Hwaseong Fortress Tourist Trolley is a train that loops around the major sites of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Inspired by the royal palanquin of the Joseon dynasty and Emperor Sunjong’s automobile from the Korean Empire, it departs from Yeonmudae Post, passes by key military facilities, and returns to its starting point. Traveling at a leisurely pace of around 20 km/h, it offers a relaxed way to enjoy the fortress scenery. The trolley operates every 20 minutes from 09:40 to 17:00, with tickets available for purchase on-site.
