    Sokcho has an abundance of scenic features including mountains, ocean, ports, lakes and more. This 17.6-kilometer course takes approximately 6 hours to complete, but it is packed with everything that makes a port city beautiful. The course mostly consists of flatland, offering a chance to enjoy the natural surroundings from a village formed by North Korean refugees during the Korean War, an observatory with the best view of the city, a rock that resemble tiger lying down and more.

      Sokch Seorak Sunrise Park (속초 설악해맞이공원)

      A park with the East Sea in the front and Seoraksan Mountain in the back. There are over 30 sculptures exhibited throughout the park.

      Abai Village (아바이 마을)

      A village settled by North Korean refugees during the Korean War. For 500 won, visitors can ride a hand-pulled boat that goes from the village to downtown.

      Sokcho Lighthouse Observatory (속초등대전망대)

      A lighthouse that started operation in 1957. It is also an observatory with a panoramic view of the city, the East Sea and Seoraksan Mountain.

      Yeongnangho Lake Beombawi Rock (범바위)

      Yeongnangho Lake is a representative lagoon in Korea, which can be seen from Beombawi Rock. It was also a filming location of the movie “Decision to Leave (2022)” by director ParkChan-wook.

      Jangsahang Port (장사항)

      A cozy port located at the northern end of the city. It is a popular fishing spot for the locals.
