    This course is like a complete set of gifts. From Busan’s representative attractions including Oryukdo Island, Gwangalli, and Haeundae, this 16.9-kilometer course is the first course of the Haeparang Trail, which spans approximately 750 kilometers. There are many things to see in this course as it treks though the second biggest city in Korea with coastal parks, beaches, city skyline, and an island turned main land. The 6 hour and 30 minute trail offers much to enjoy at every corner. Throughout the course, you’ll come across many tourist attractions as well as restrooms and convenience stores. The best time to start the course is around 2 hours before sunset when the daytime heat begin to subside and you also get to enjoy Busan’s lovely nightscape.

      Oryukdo Sunrise Park (오륙도해맞이공원)

      The park provides a wide view of Oryukdo Island, a set of six rocky islands standing above the emerald colored ocean. Around April every year, visitors can walk through fully bloomed canola flowers and daffodils.

      Dongsaengmal Observatory (동생말전망대)

      An observatory standing at the starting point of Igidae Coastal Trail. It is also a beautiful nightscape spot where you can take in the view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge and Haeundae.

      Gwangalli Beach (광안리해수욕장)

      One of the two representative beaches in Busan where the beautifully lit Gwangandaegyo Bridge can be seen at night. It was also a filming location of the Hollywood blockbuster “Black Panther (2018)”

      Nurimaru APEC House (누리마루 APEC하우스)

      Located on Dongbaekseom Island, it hosted the 2025 APEC Summit where representatives from 21 countries had attended.

      A Tourist Information Center with information on traveling around Haeundae equipped with storage lockers.
