      Yeongneung & Nyeongneung Royal Tombs [UNESCO World Heritage] (여주 영릉(세종·소헌왕후)과 영릉(효종·인선왕후) [유네스코 세계유산])

      The royal tombs of King Sejong the Great, the creator of Hangeul, and his wife Queen Soheon. The outdoor exhibit displays relics and restored scientific equipment used by King Sejong. Right nearby is another set of royal tombs from the Joseon dynasty which belong to King Hyojong and his queen.

      A museum exhibiting a collection of historical archives and diverse relics of Yeoju.

      Yeoju Silleuksa Temple (신륵사(여주))

      A temple that represents Yeoju located by the Namhangang River. This grand temple boasts a long history and offers a breathtaking scenery. Within the temple premises are three ancient trees aged over 600 years old. Another noteworthy historical asset is the brick pagoda located outside Silleuksa Temple near the Namhangang River, which is the only existing pagoda from the Goryeo period.

      Yeoju Dojasesang (여주도자세상)

      Yeoju has long been a land of fertile soil and abundant natural resources which provided an ideal environment for producing ceramics. Yeoju Dojasesang is a cultural complex that comprises workshops, exhibitions, and shopping centers centered on ceramics made by domestic potters.

      Gangcheonseom Island (강천섬)

      A small island located in the middle of the Namhangang River that became widely recognized for its golden ginkgo path in fall. There are grass pastures by the path where one can sit and enjoy a picnic.
