    * Destination Suggested by Novi (Media Manager at KTO Jakarta Office)
Novi, an avid traveler with a particular fondness for Asian destinations, has found a new interest in Korea, spurred by the global rise of K-pop and Korean media in Indonesia. Eager to experience seasons he can’t find at home, Novi yearns to immerse himself in Korea’s fall and winter. His destination of choice is Cheongyang, Chungcheongnam-do, where the contrast to Indonesia’s climate is stark.
“When I visit Korea, the place I’m most excited to see is Cheongyang in Chungcheongnam-do. Coming from Indonesia, where winter is not a prominent season, I’m eager to immerse myself in the winter atmosphere. I’ve heard that Cheongyang hosts an annual ice fountain festival, along with other winter activities. I’m looking forward to participating in these events and savoring roasted sweet potatoes. It’d be wonderful to explore the sights and fully experience Korea’s winter landscape.”
