Travel destinations focusing on environmental protection and low-carbon experiences.
With the increasing demand for sustainable environmental, social, and governance (ESG) travel, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is also exploring eco-friendly, co-existent tourism content. Ulsan has many travel spots focusing on environmental protection and low-carbon experiences to reduce carbon emissions generated during travel. They include Vanastha, where you can enjoy yoga and meditation in the forest; Petroglyphs of Bangudae Terrace, which are considered the first works of art on the Korean Peninsula; and Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Village, where you can get a glimpse of the friendly Jangsaengpo of the 1960s and 1970s. As such, we guide you through a recommended eco-friendly travel course in Ulsan.
