Enjoy the clear waters and the scent of the forest in Cheongsong.
Cheongsong is known for its beautiful scenery and clean air. The most famous tourist destinations in Cheongsong are Juwangsan National Park and Jusanji Reservoir (Cheongsong National Geopark), both of which have much to show no matter when you visit. Cheongsong is especially known for its tasty apples, and the city hosts the Cheongsong Apple Festival every year in early November when apples are in season. Yaksu dak baeksuk (whole chicken soup) and wild vegetables are also famous. The region holds up their reputation that suit their slogan “Oxygen Cafe Cheongsong-gun,” guaranteeing their visitors enjoy a healthy and satisfying trip with a nutritious meal of whole chicken soup made with mineral spring water from the forest and wild vegetables grown in Juwangsan Mountain.-

Yoon Dujun is the leader of Highlight and the member usually in charge of the mid-low pitch vocals. He has his own YouTube channel “City Escape” to communicate with his fans, constantly sharing his daily life and travel stories. As the name of his channel suggests, he often enjoys unplanned travel. He travels both domestically and internationally, showing off his down-to-earth charm. He chose Cheongsong, Gyeongsangbuk-do as the best travel destination to visit with his parents. He said that the reason is because he can enjoy hot springs and a forest path that is good for walking while enjoying beautiful scenery and fresh air.

Located at the entrance of Juwangsan National Park, this cafe is great to stop by before or after your trip. The interior and exterior are decorated in white and wood tones, creating a comfortable atmosphere. They sell traditional tea like ssanghwacha (medicinal herb tea) and bingsu (shaved ice) desserts. This place also operates as a rattan workshop, so you can also browse and buy handmade rattan objects.
