Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do has beautiful scenery of nature along the Hangang River. There are also various tourist attractions such as Water Garden, Dumulmeori, and 4 Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty listed on UNESCO World Heritage. The city has great bike paths and walking trails, and can be easily accessed by Gyeongchun Line from Seoul.

A station that discontinued in 2005. The railway was repurposed as a bicycle path and is now popular among riders.
Dasan Heritage Site (Namyangju) (다산유적지 (남양주))
The birth home of Dasan Jeong Yak-yong. The museum and facilities have his work and inventions on display.

A waterfront eco park with a walking trail and bicycle path.
Lee Ha-yeon is the president of the Kimchi Association of Korea and was designated by the Korean Food Grand Master as an expert in kimchi. She opened the Kimchi Culture Center near Seoul in Namyangju and has worked to pass down the tradition of making kimchi and traditional food culture. Shortly after, the Kimchi Experience Museum was opened to spread knowledge about kimchi and its history, as well as serve handmade meals featuring kimchi to its guests.
