Myeoncheoneupseong Walled Town, Dangjin (당진면천읍성)
A fortress village built during the Joseon dynasty. It served as the military and political center of the Myeoncheon region until 1910. This walled town of today has a souvenir shop, book shop, art museum, café, and more. A walk around the fortress takes approximately 20 minutes (2 kilometers).

Introduction
Kim Keum-soon is an agricultural farmer that makes local products such as hangwa, pickled vegetables, and Korean chili paste with green plums. After living in Seoul for over 50 years, she followed her husband to Dangjin after retirement for a fresh start. Farming on Dangjin’s rich soil yielded healthy vegetation and within the neighborhood formed an economic community. Immerse yourself in the charm of Dangjin with a farmer who is sincerely concerned about the future of the energetic countryside and healthy food.
