According to an urban myth, high school graduates who write a wishful note on the school’s trademark 샤-shaped statue have a high rate of getting accepted to Seoul University.

Introduction
The author of this itinerary is a translator and editor at the Korea Tourism Organization. They came to Korea for their studies and went to a university in Seoul. With many special memories in mind, the author recommends a campus tour in Seoul to both tourists and students. Not only does each school have a charm of its own, but visitors can see a different side of Korea that is rarely introduced through travel guides. The author also recommends, if possible, dining at a student cafeteria for a unique experience. Korean universities are also often the venue of K-pop festivals and events and can easily be reached by taking the subway.
