Craftsman Hu Ho produces silk in his family business of five generations. His hometown of Sangju is famous for silk and so, he was able to learn about the material from a very young age. In a fast-pace fabric industry that is constantly developing synthetic fabric, silk has become a declining industry. However, the craftsman is always researching and working to raise the product worth of silk. He currently operates Hu’s Silk on 6,611 m2 of land that offers various silk experiences and works to continue the legacy of Sangju’s traditions.
