Let the resonance of traditional music awaken a new sense of emotion!
This 2-day wellness tour combines Korean traditional music (Gugak), nature, and cultural heritage in Chungcheongbuk-do, offering a calm and well-balanced travel experience outside the city.
The journey begins at the Nangye Museum of Traditional Music and Gugak Experience Village, where travelers can experience playing traditional Korean instruments such as the gayageum and janggu. Participants also have the unique opportunity to strike the large ceremonial drum at the Cheongogak Pavilion, allowing them to experience the powerful sound of Gugak firsthand.
After lunch, the tour continues to Wollyubong Peak, a scenic area known for its gentle walking paths and peaceful natural surroundings. A light walk through the landscape offers time to relax and enjoy the seasonal scenery. In the late afternoon, guests visit the Rainbow Healing Center, where wellness and relaxation programs provide a comfortable space to unwind and recharge.
On Day 2, the itinerary focuses on Korean history and art. Travelers visit Chojeong Haenggung, a restored royal retreat, followed by Unbo's House, the former residence and studio of renowned Korean artist Unbo Kim Ki-chang. These stops offer insight into traditional architecture, artistic heritage, and everyday life from a quieter, cultural perspective.
The tour concludes at Cheongnamdae, the former presidential villa, where spacious gardens and walking paths near Daecheongho Lake create a calm setting before returning to Seoul.
This tour is operated as a private, small-group program and includes transportation, accommodation, guide service, entrance fees, and hands-on experiences.
It is recommended for travelers looking for a culture-focused itinerary with meaningful activities and wellness experiences, rather than fast-paced sightseeing.
