Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was completed in September 1796 during the reign of King Jeongjo, the 22nd ruler of the Joseon Dynasty. It is the world's first planned city and represents the pinnacle of Joseon fortress architecture. You can experience archery at the Yeonmudae post and stroll along the Hwaseong Fortress walls.
At the Korean Folk Village, you can experience Korean culture through recreated traditional hanoks and lifestyles. Enjoy a variety of traditional performances, entertainment, and food.
