  • Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is the National Tourism Organization of the Republic of Korea, with offices located worldwide to promote and boost tourism to Korea, so as to make it one of the top destinations in the world.

    The KTO Singapore Office is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual for the following position:

    Position: Marketing Manager (minimum 5 years’ experience in the tourism field is required)

    Yearly based contract (including 2-months’ probation) | S$6,000 ~ S$6,200 (commensurate with experience), key responsibilities on the job include:


    • Trade Partners Management
    • Regular contact with airlines, travel agencies (product planners and marketing managers) etc to explore new opportunities to promote Korea
    • Advertising subsidy campaign execution, reporting and documentation
    • Manage various trade releases, trade presentations etc.
    • Invite, arrange and manage travel agents for FAM trips
    • Monthly report based on market research and analysis


    • Public Relations/Media
    • Offline and online media management
    • Press tour planning, execution, follow up and reporting
    • Track published PR articles generated by KTO HQ
    • Manage media relations, press releases, FAM trips and enquiries, etc


    • Advertising & Promotions
    • Promote and execute GIT (Group Inclusive Tour) related events e.g. travel fairs, trade events and special interest group travel etc
    • Offline and online outdoor advertising planning, execution and reporting
    • Maintain relations and keep up-to-date with various advertising mediums/platforms


    • Business Development
    • Collaborate with KTO Singapore appointed partners
    • Solicit new business opportunities with 3rd parties to promote Korea, such as various trade, travel agents, media, and advertising partners


    • Other responsibilities can include but not limited to the following:
    • Adhoc tourism industry market research
    • Represent KTO to participate in adhoc events
    • Plan, organize and execute KTO-led events
    • Arrange adhoc business appointments between visitors from Korea and Singapore tourism bodies
    • Other adhoc duties as assigned by the Director and Deputy Directors

    Applicants should possess at least the following requirements: 
    -A degree related to tourism, event management or any related fields with a minimum of Degree

    - Excellent written and spoken English language, good public speaker

    - Able to commence employment from Feb to Mar 2023

    Applicants with the prerequisites below would have an added advantage: 
    - Singaporeans/PR preferred

    - More than 5 years’ experience in the tourism field
    - Knowledge of tourism industry in Singapore and Korea

    - Basic conversational and written Korea Language

    Re-contract opportunities are available based on assessment after 1 year.
