Seoul is a city that is bountiful in culture and in diverse events which are held almost every single day.

The entrance to the Seoul Garden Show at Yeouido Park.

One memorable event which took place in Yeouido Park was the annual Seoul Garden Show. It was held for seven days, from October 3rd to the 9th. its first event took place in 2015, the show exhibits around eighty different gardens designed by professionals and the local residents themselves. The gardens were showcased throughout the park and therefore accessible to anyone at all times during the event. Not only could the visitors peruse the various outdoor garden exhibits, they could also participate in activities on creating traditional Korean craft such as wood carving. The garden show also had a designated area for browsing and purchasing necessary items for the daily gardener. Meeting and chatting with the vendors was another great way to exchange ideas and form bonds with fellow local residents. Yeouido Park is also bike friendly and riders can be spotted at all parts of the hour so it is important to be mindful of the bike paths as well. The park is very spacious and clean that even if there are no events held there, it is still definitely worth a visit whether you are a solo traveler or accompanied by someone.

Another famous landmark near Yeouido Park is the KBS broadcasting station. There are many halls in the premises where numerous local and global events are held. The station's Yeouido location is especially well-known by K-pop fans as there are many music programs recorded there and fans queue for a long time for a chance to see their favorite singers perform at the recording. One particular event which took place on October 6th was the world concert tour of the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra at KBS Hall. Fans from all over Korea and nearby countries traveled to attend the one-day 5 p.m. concert in Seoul. Although no pictures are allowed to be taken inside the hall, there are plenty of other things to take photos of outside, such as posters and cutouts throughout the area. Music programs are not the only programs being recorded there, so it is best to ask the friendly and helpful staff on what programs there are available for the public to attend.

There are also many eateries in the area to try out. Since they are right in front of the broadcasting station, you never know when you might see a celebrity there!

    Traveler's Room :
A cozy stay, like a second home.

    The outside of the hotel.

Hotel Lucebridge is conveniently located in Seoul, near Gimpo Airport. Situated right outside Exit 9 and Exit 5 of Balsan Station on Line 5, it is a great place for those who want to be near the airport but not too far from the central Seoul area. The hotel's location is also very close to three other subway lines, which is why it is suitable for those traveling to and from the bus terminals as well.

Whether the purpose of travel is business or pleasure and needing a place for one person or for many, Hotel Lucebridge is a great location for those who seek comfort in a quiet area while having access to amenities of all things a metropolis city offers. Once in the spacious lobby of the hotel, the front desk is situated in the middle of the floor with staff who are more than welcoming and ready to help check you in. On the side are also brochures and pamphlets that provide information about the city and what attractions are nearby. The lobby is connected to a restaurant and a café where one can receive discounts on purchase with proof of their hotel reservation.

    bathroom sink

After taking one of the hotel elevators to the room, one can find that the hotel room itself is more than what is seen in the official website pictures. The rooms are quite spacious and balanced, as the windows are large and cast from the ceiling to the floor, providing a great view of the city behind the hotel. Everything in the room is immaculate and ready to be settled in by the occupant as their new home for however long the stay will be. A pouch of amenities is provided by the hotel in case there were some items forgotten during the pack. Another factor which helps the room feel more comfortable is the presence of a proper kitchen area which consists of a sink and stove, with cups. There is also a washing machine so one could utilize it more freely on their own time rather than requesting a service from the hotel.

Hotel Lucebridge offers a great accommodation where it feels more than just a simple hotel but like a second home. The location is prime for privacy and convenience while also has plentiful attractions close by.

    Korea Travel Qrator's Tip

There is a great salad restaurant right around and behind the hotel. It's good for those who want to get enough nutrients but not wanting to eat anything too heavy.
About a 5-minute bus ride away, there is a large botanical garden which will open by the end of October, 2018.
Southeast of the hotel is a restaurant that offers a course meal of Gangwon-do Province cuisine, which is great for those who want to try regional food but cannot travel there directly.
