  • May in Korea is often called “Family Month,” with Children’s Day falling on May 5, Parent’s Day on May 8, and the whole month graced with wonderful weather to get outdoors and spend time together. If you’re planning a family trip to Korea, you can’t do better than to visit in May!

Having said that, we’re aware that just picking the right season or time to visit doesn’t make for a perfect family trip. Traveling with children can be exhausting, but it doesn’t have to be! Including attractions your child will love in your itinerary is key to making precious family memories. Those with an outgoing, active temperament feel constrained at spending hours in an art gallery or museum. On the other hand, a more reserved child may balk at the idea of spending time in loud, crowded places.

To set you up for success, we’ve created a list of some of the best attractions in the Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area based on if you are traveling with an extravert or introvert child! And for families and children that are a bit of a mix of both, we’ve included a few attractions all kids are sure to love, regardless of their temperament!
