The actors of the theater troupe "Book Bear Arts" engage in a diverse range of performances. During the day, they bring to life heartwarming family dramas under the title "Book Bear," while in the evenings, they captivate audiences with their rendition of tragic plays like "Hamlet" as part of their repertoire. Within the theater troupe, there are three actors: Yeong-hyeon, who has grown weary of the unchanging repertoire after five years; Kyeong-gu, who leads a romantic lifestyle; and Jun-ho, the passionate youngest member.
The three actors, who live in relative obscurity and face financial struggles, engage in a series of discussions and preparations for their upcoming performances. However, as the performance begins, they become disheartened and exhausted when no audience members show up, dampening their spirits. Feeling a profound emptiness, they take the time to tidy up the stage and, as they share a drink, find solace in romantic memories while gazing at the flickering candlelight. They are reminded of the harsh reality of their lives as struggling theater actors, a far cry from the perceived glamour of actors on stage. In the midst of their lively conversation, something unexpected occurs. Jun-ho's performance suddenly shines brightly, capturing the attention of a crowd that gathers to watch the show.
