When I asked my friend what she wanted to see she said Namsan Seoul Tower. It really amazes me that it can be seen from far away in almost any area of Seoul. So it was our first place to visit. Namsan Seoul Tower was built in 1975. I found out that it was the first general radio wave tower and it is active even now when it became a big tourist spot. Unlike Russian tv radio broadcasting tower “Ostankino” it has no tv production. It serves as a museum and observatory. Instead of climbing up the mountain by stairs we decided to take the cable car. Namsan Cable Car is an attraction of its own. You can see nice city views from there and take a closer look at Namsan Park on the way to the top.

Namsan Park near the tower is a very romantic place. There are many photo spots designed specifically for couples. But taking nice pictures with a friend is not less interesting at all.
I recommend you to go down and take a walk in Namsan Park after visiting Namsan Seoul Tower.
It is big and has a nice view of the city.

We stayed in Sieoso Hotel Seoul. The hotel was close to the attractions we’ve visited especially Myeong-dong shopping area. I expected that we would be very tired of sightseeing and shopping that is why the location was very great for us. Nearby the hotel there is a bus stop and metro station, Euljiro 3(sam)-ga. However, it is not on the main street. There are many local diners, karaoke, and bars nearby.

The lobby has many tourism brochures and notices about the shuttle bus to the airport. There was an elevator which is very great as you don’t have to haul heavy baggage. Rooms have small carved room signs that are imitating Korean traditional wooden carving. Inside of the room, there are many advantages that you don't expect from that kind of hotel: vaults and big bathrooms. Also, there were “usual suspects,” a nice tv set, a big bed, a fridge, and a wardrobe. The common place has many small and nice drawings, and photos of previous visitors. Also in the hall room, you can buy some souvenirs. The great thing about the hotel was that there was a nice breakfast with hot, cooked food, not just toast. The kitchen and dining room are in the basement.
