  • Transit Tours

If you have a layover at Incheon International Airport, take advantage of the spare time and enjoy a short but meaningful sightseeing in Korea. As a major hub airport of Asia, Incheon International Airport operates a variety of transit tour programs. From programs as short as a few hours (transit tours) to as long as overnight and beyond (K-Stopover), there are many different types of programs with which you can experience Korea according to your schedule. Enjoy the beauty that the country has to offer by making the most of your waiting time!

    1) Incheon Airport Transit Tour Program

The transit tour program offers a quick trip to the Seoul metropolitan area (Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Incheon) in less than five hours. For a more traditional experience, there are tours to the Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae) and Gwangjang Market or Jeondeungsa Temple. Shopping tours feature Sinpo Market or Hongdae street tour. There is a wide range of tour programs travelers can choose from based on their schedule and convenience.

    How to participate

Browse and book a tour on the Incheon International Airport website, then bring the registration documents to the main desk on the first floor in Terminal 1 at least 30 minutes prior to the start of program. You can participate in the transit tour without a Korea-entry visa if you meet one of the following conditions:
    1. Citizen of a country participating in the Visa Waiver Program with Korea (See visa categories)
    * K-ETA may still be required to enter Korea depending on your nationality; travelers are advised to check in advance.
    2. Travelers who hold a visa (or permanent residency) to the United States (including Guam and Saipan), Canada, Australia, New Zealand or one of the 32 European countries and in transit to one of the aforementioned countries, or in transit from one of the aforementioned countries to the country of origin or a third country. Check with Incheon International Airport as other conditions may apply.
    3. Passengers who are transferring at Incheon International Airport with a flight ticket for departure within 72 hours.
