Munheonseowon Confucian Academy
An institution established during the Joseon dynasty for the study and teaching of Neo-Confucianism. It embodies the tranquil beauty of Korea. This is where the scene in "The King's Affection" took place, where young Dam-yi and Lee Hwi first met while trying to retrieve a cloth from a Crepe Myrtle Tree. In summer, the 400-year-old Confucian Academy, pine forest, vast lawn, and Crepe Myrtle Tree together create a serene vista.

Originally established as the set for the drama "Mr. Sunshine", it has since garnered interest as a filming location for historical dramas such as "Pachinko" and "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938". It is currently open to the public as a tourist attraction. Strolling through Sunshine Studio in costumes of the era, one feels as if they've stepped into the bustling Hanseong of the 1900s.
