  • A Tour of Attractions in K-Variety Shows that Arose Curiosity

    Seoul

As K-content becomes more popular, interest in K-variety shows, where you can see the behind-the-scenes, daily lives of celebrities, is also increasing day by day.

    Seonyudo Park

Music video filming location for “Hang Out With Yoo”

This is the place where Trot singer Yoo San-seul, one of Yoo Jae-suk's alternate characters in “Hang Out With Yoo,” filmed an ultra low-budget music video in just two hours. The park opened in 2002 as a recycling ecological park using water purification facilities. As it was once a water purification facility, it is special in that you can observe the ecology of various aquatic plants up close. In addition, more than 200 species of native plants show off their colorful scenery throughout the four seasons. Cherry blossoms in full bloom are especially beautiful in spring, making it one of the best flower viewing spots in Seoul.

    Times Square

Where “Running Man” was first filmed

Times Square was the very first filming location for the hallyu variety show “Running Man” first aired in 2010. You can feel the huge scale of Times Square in the scene where “Running Man” members began to run after hearing missions. It is a shopping mall complex that combines shopping, culture, and dining. It is connected to a hotel, making it the best place to enjoy everything without moving locations. Although it is indoors, natural light coming from the atrium roof allows you to enjoy a pleasant atmosphere regardless of the weather.

    HILLS & EUROPA

    Cocktail bar in “Seoul Check-in”

Singer Lee Hyo-ri's OTT variety show “Seoul Check-in” was filmed here, where you can enjoy the hip atmosphere of Haebangchon. The low wooden ceiling and walls filled with unique objects and LPs from all over the world create a unique and cozy atmosphere. It is always full of customers as you can enjoy great-looking cocktails and delicious dishes against the backdrop of various genres of music. During the day, it is good to enjoy coffee and dessert like a café. It is famous for its delicious cream caramel pudding, along with coffee that brings the best out of the coffee beans from each region of origin. There are also various types of signature cocktails, but we recommend the “Cigar in a Glass” with a unique visual that Lee Hyo-ri and Park Na-rae drank.

    Ongeundal

Bakery featured in “I Live Alone” and “Lined Up Restaurants”

This bakery in Seongsu-dong boasts a colorful and unique visual, and is gaining popularity for its “cruffin,” a hybrid of a croissant and muffin. The menu includes a variety of breads and desserts, such as canelé, pound cake, crumble, and mille-feuille, making it a paradise for bread-lovers. The courtyard of the building, which was remodeled from an old factory, has thick bushes and a small square pond, offering a unique view. The floor-to-ceiling windows in this two-story building create the feeling of a wide, open space, making it full of photo opportunities.
