Sköll & Hati
Gyeongju, the thousand-year-old.
Behind the serene charm of ancient tombs and Bulguksa Temple lies another side of the city. When people think of Gyeongju, many first picture its tranquil temples and cultural heritage. Yet in the very heart of this historic city stands another landmark—one that thrills visitors with excitement by day and sparkles with lights like stars at night. Welcome to Gyeongju World, Korea’s premier theme park of thrills.
Where thrills meet memories

Draken / Phaeton
More than just a must-see on any Gyeongju trip, Gyeongju World has made bold, ongoing investments in its facilities for years, aspiring to be a theme park of global renown. Its signature attraction, Draken, is Korea’s first and the world’s sixth dive coaster—delivering a breathtaking rush as riders plunge 90 degrees straight down from 63 meters. Phaeton, an inverted roller coaster inspired by Greek mythology, thrills adventurers with its dizzying speed and powerful spins. Meanwhile, Sköll & Hati, Asia’s first single-rail coaster, offers a heart-pounding ride with single-file seating for a truly unique adrenaline rush.

Time Rider
In 2025, to celebrate its 40th anniversary, Gyeongju World introduced the Time Rider, a brand-new attraction that has already become the park’s new icon. Featuring the rare Coaster Wheel design—the same ride type as Mickey’s Ferris Wheel at Disney California Adventure—it offers two experiences: relax and take in panoramic views from the fixed cabins, or opt for the moving cabins that sway along the rails for an exhilarating thrill. Rising 51 meters into the sky, this one-of-a-kind attraction captivates visitors with its sheer scale and unique experience, drawing widespread attention from tourists around the world.
Year-round fun for everyone

California Beach / Submarine Splash
Gyeongju World offers much more than roller coasters—it also provides plenty of family-friendly fun. In summer, the California Beach water park offers refreshing aquatic adventures, while Submarine Splash, one of the largest water coasters in Asia, delivers an unforgettable thrill.

Snow Park
In winter, Gyeongju World transforms into a snowy village in the heart of the city. The seasonal Snow Park boasts three sledding slopes stretching up to 250 meters, along with dedicated lifts, and a variety of sledding facilities. Families of all ages can enjoy snowball fights and sled rides together, creating unforgettable winter memories.
A must-visit destination in Korea

Wizard Race
With its thrilling attractions, year-round facilities, and unique setting that blends entertainment with Gyeongju's ancient heritage, Gyeongju World is more than just an amusement park. From thrill-seekers craving extreme adventures to families looking to spend a memorable day together, it has firmly established itself as a must-visit destination in Korea.
Conveniently located near Busan, a city just as captivating as Gyeongju, Gyeongju World is an ideal choice for a Busan-to-Gyeongju day trip. Its close proximity allows visitors to enjoy the best of both cities in a short time, creating a richer travel experience. A day at Gyeongju World, seamlessly integrated into a Busan itinerary, adds an extra layer of meaning to any journey.
