Visit Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House) and receive an arbor day special gift. All you have to do is follow Cheong Wa Dae on social media (Instagram and YouTube) or sign up as a VISITKOREA member. Simply show proof of your VK membership or that you are following Cheong Wa Dae on social media, and receive a beautiful tree collection leaflet and a seed pencil containing either tomato, basil, sunflower, balsam or morning glory seed.

In celebration of Arbor Day, the event will run from April 5 to April 20, inviting both international visitors and locals to pique interest in Cheong Wa Dae trees and raise awareness about Arbor Day. A total of 5,000 seed pencils will be given away, 500 per day on a first-come, first-served basis. Don’t miss out on the chance to receive a meaningful gift.

Cheong Wa Dae, once the office and official residence of the president, is well known for its stunning gardens, so beautiful it even offers a Tree Exploration tour. By following the tour path along the Grand Garden, Small Garden, and Nokjiwon, visitors can admire the beauty of seasonal flowers, pine trees, and the majestic 740-year-old pacific yew tree.
