This August, visitors can enjoy the Hangang River and public art together through the 2026 Seocho-Han River Art Tour, taking place in the area around Express Bus Terminal Station (Subway Lines 3, 7, 9).
The main event is a guided tour of the public art exhibition, “Wonder Street,” set up along the pedestrian walkway between Express Bus Terminal Station and Banpo Hangang Park. “Wonder Street” showcases a variety of works including sculptures, installation art, and murals. Operated as a guided tour in English, foreigners can easily learn about the meanings behind the artworks and the stories of the space. Following the tour, participants can experience making traditional Korean crafts, such as painting fans or decorating mother-of-pearl hand mirrors.
The tour takes place eight times from August 6-30, with each session starting at 17:00 and running for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Participation is free, but online pre-registration is required.
