      • KTO and NAVER Maps Present “BE LOCAL” in Busan

  • The Korea Tourism Organization and NAVER Maps are collaborating to host the BE LOCAL Campaign in Busan, which has been taking place since June 5 and runs through July 19, 2026. This collaboration was planned to effectively promote tourist attractions in the Busan region to international tourists in conjunction with the major Hallyu event, “BTS The City Busan.”

    During the campaign period, NAVER Maps shows the top ten tourist destinations in Busan selected by the Korea Tourism Organization under “Places” through the “Be Local” feature. Various attractions are suggested, along with Hallyu-themed tourist destinations in the Busan area, such as Gamcheon Culture Village, Oryukdo Islets, and Lotte World Adventure Busan.

    NAVER Maps supports multilingual services for international users, including English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, making it an essential app that allows global travelers to find tourist attractions in Korea without language barriers.

    To check out Busan’s top attractions featured in the Be Local campaign, download and install NAVER Maps from Google Play or the App Store, go to the language settings to select preferred language, and then click the “BE LOCAL” tab at the top of the home screen to view the information.
