The cherry blossom forecast for 2026 has been released. This year’s cherry blossoms are expected to bloom two to seven days earlier than average.
The earliest cherry blossoms can be seen in Jeju Island and Busan around March 25, followed by Gangneung around April 1 and Seoul around April 3. As cherry blossoms are estimated to peak approximately one week after blossoming, the flowers are expected to be in full bloom in Jeju after April 1 and in Seoul around April 10.
