So, we spent a day at Hotel Kenny, a Korea Quality–Certified hotel providing comfortable rest overlooking the sea in the springtime.
Upon entering the Hotel Kenny lobby, one can immediately see that this hotel resembles the many sides of Yeosu.
The hotel lobby is flanked on both sides by a comfortable lounge that offers space to take a breather One can choose to do work, read a book,
or use one of the washing facilities for light laundry in the lounge, or even plop down on a bean bag and enjoy the city view.
Hotel Kenny’s lounge offers a wonderful beginning and end to your travels.
One floor below the hotel’s rooftop is ALP Kitchen Yeosu, which brings a famous restaurant straight from Seoul’s Hannam-dong area.
Inspired by European elegance, its interior serves as the perfect backdrop to the flavorful dishes prepared by the skilled chefs in the kitchen.
Its charms have proven to be popular among travelers and locals alike.

Stroll along Yeosu’s greenery
Trekking trip on Namparang Trail
Namparang Trail is a walking trail that connects the Hiking Trails of the Korean peninsula’s southern end.
Trail Course 54, in particular, connects Yeosu Bus Terminal with Yeosu Marine Park, bringing one to all tourist favorites,
such as Yeosu EXPO Ocean Park, Odongdo Island, and Jasan Park.
Step on the pavilion at Jasan Park to enjoy the expansive view or walk along the trail on the sea leading to Odongdo Island.
Yeosu EXPO Ocean Park
Since the closing of EXPO 2012 Yeosu, the facilities used for the EXPO were opened to the public as Yeosu EXPO Ocean Park.
Aside from its waterside park, there also stands Aqua Planet Yeosu, an exhibition space home to nearly 3,000 species of marine life,
as well as an experience center offering water sports and activities and sports facilities for the general public.
The Big-O, a circular structure built on a stage on the sea, is Yeosu EXPO Ocean Park’s landmark and the site of the eponymous show.
Bask in the sunshine by the waterside park, and be sure to take a picture in front of the Big-O.
Jasan Park
Jasan Park is where one can enjoy the view of the Yeosu city center, Odongdo Island, and even the sea beyond.
There is a marine cable car connected to Dolsan Park from here,
and visitors to the Ilchuljeong Pavilion can enjoy a cup of tea along with the view,
making the park a popular destination not only for visitors but also for residents.
Once accessible only through a steep staircase at the Odongdo Island embankment entrance,
Jasan Park now provides an elevator service connecting the park to the public parking lot, free of charge.
Dolsan Park
A crowd of people gathers every sunset at Dolsan Park to catch the view of the sunset
and the city at night when the blue scenery of Yeosu takes on a fountain of colors.
The sea breeze can be chilly, so pack light outerwear when the daily temperature range is large.
Don’t forget to check the sunset hours before your visit as well.
Nangman Pocha Street
This lively street is a great place to enjoy dinner by Yeosu’s night sea.
In addition to Yeosu specialties like seafood,
this street also showcases performances which are sure to make your visit a memorable one.
