  The Catholic University of Korea Incheon St. Mary’s Hospital was founded in 1955 as the first university hospital in the Incheon area. In 2018, we opened the country's first brain hospital with 204 beds. Today, with 24 departments, 31 clinical divisions, and 26 specialty centers, we are at the forefront of cutting-edge medicine in brain, cancer, heart, organ transplant, robotic surgery, and more.
  
  We have excelled in a variety of areas of evaluation, as exemplified by our Ministry of Health and Welfare Healthcare Organization Accreditation, the Best Hospital designation in the Emergency Medical Center evaluation, designation as the Top Hospital for stroke treatment and the top rating in colorectal cancer care by the Korea Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.

  History
  
  June 1955: Opened as St. Mary Hospital April 1962: Became a subsidiary of the College of Medicine of the Catholic University, the "first university hospital in Incheon" December 2010: Succeeded in the world's first single-port laparoscopic cervical cancer surgery January 2015: Became the No. 1 tertiary hospital in the northwest region of Incheon (Ministry of Health and Welfare) September 2016: Won the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the Korea Health & Medical Award 2016 June 2018: Opened Korea's first brain hospital October 2018: Installed the radiation cancer treatment device "MRIdian LINAC" for the first time in Korea December 2021: Held the opening ceremony for the 1st Global Healthcare Center in Kazakhstan January 2022: Installed the radiation cancer treatment machine "Halcyon 3.0" July 2022: Held the opening ceremony for the 2nd Global Healthcare Center in Kazakhstan
