Asan Medical Center
Asan Medical Center, which opened in June 1989, is the largest tertiary hospital in Korea with 2,764 beds. In 2023, it treated an average of 13,260 outpatients and 2,539 inpatients daily, performing a total of 70,892 surgeries annually. It operates 3 specialty hospitals, AMC Cancer Institute, AMC Heart Institute, and AMC Children’s Hosptial, along with over 50 specialized centers. Asan Medical Center has achieved global recognition for its accomplishments in cancer treatment, organ transplantation, and cardiac care.
