Learn the choreography of the latest songs of famous K-pop idols, including BTS, Black Pink, and New Jeans. The class will take 1 hour and 30 minutes with at least 5 participants. Songs that will be played are popular enough for anyone to sing along.

During the class, photos and videos will be taken that will be sent to the participants via email one week after the class ends. The most popular class lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes with about 10 people. Other classes include one-on-one personalized classes, K-Pop 1 Full Day Tour, and K-Pop Camp where you can deeply experience K-pop culture including the dance.

There are various types of people that participate in the class. Most of them are individual travelers visiting Korea, but some are international students who study in Korea or groups visiting Korea for corporate training. There are diverse nationalities as well. The classes are taught in English, but even if you’re not fluent in English, you can easily follow along by looking at the instructor’s movements.

On a hot summer day, a total of nine participants, including two Taiwanese, six French, and one person from Hong Kong, were in the Real K-Pop Dance Studio Class.

Song of the day was New Jeans’ “Super Shy,” which is a bright song with an easy choreography that is perfect for beginners learning K-pop dances for the first time. Most participants were trying K-pop dances for the first time with only one traveler from Taiwan having prior experience. But there was nothing to worry about because the class was taught based on the first-time learner’s level.

After warming up, participants learned the moves. After repeating the same section, they progressed to the next part. After learning the dance in parts, it was possible to dance to the entire song as the dance moves came together.

Ellen, who learned K-pop dance in Taiwan, said, “Because I love K-pop so much, I really wanted to experience K-pop dance while traveling in Korea. I searched online and made a reservation. The instructor was so professional and nice that I could finish the song even though it was difficult.”

“I focused so much that I didn’t even notice the time. I will take this class again when I visit Korea next time,” she added. Moreover, a family from France said, “We had such a great time. It’s our first time trying K-pop dance, and we were so happy to learn the dance.” Most participants were highly satisfied with the class and said the instructor’s level and teaching technique were excellent.

Real K-Pop Dance Studio Class has been introduced in the US media channels, including Netflix, the Cable News Network (CNN), and the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (ESPN), along with Le Figaro in France, KiKA in Germany, Channel 9 in Australia, the Korea Broadcasting System (KBS) and Arirang TV in Korea as an exciting tourism program that people can experience while traveling in Korea.
