Hot Springs and Waterpark at Haeundae: ClubD Oasis in Busan
One of the rising stars of Haeundae, the hottest hangout in Busan, is ClubD Oasis. Opened in July 2023, this hot springs and waterpark facility has quickly become a favorite. Photographs taken at its Infinity Pool, with a view of Haeundae, captivate avid travelers. ClubD Oasis offers the thrill of sliding down the 200m-long Aqua Slide, the luxury of bathing in the outdoor hot springs bath, designated as a national wellness hot spring, and the stunning view of the open sea from the warm sauna, all in one place.
Skyscrapers, the Sea, Waterpark, and Spa, All in One!
Skyscrapers standing against the deep blue sea, the skyline of Haeundae inspires wonder from the beholders. The center of that skyline is adorned by Haeundae LCT The Sharp, the second tallest building in Korea with 101 floors. ClubD Oasis, located on the 3rd to 6th floors of this building, became one of the best-known places for scenic views almost immediately after its opening. Indeed, ClubD Oasis is the best place to head to if you want a waterpark with a view of the sea and the skyscrapers.
Each floor at ClubD Oasis is dedicated to a specific theme. The fourth floor houses its indoor and outdoor waterpark. The waterpark is known for its 80m-long Infinity Pool and the 200m-long Aqua Slide, both of which stretch toward Haeundae Beach. It also includes a suite of other pools, from the OASIS Pool (Kids Pool), Wave Pool, Lazy River, and Vade Pool. In summer, the waterpark stays open late into the night, hosting pool parties and offering colorful nighttime views of Haeundae.
Busan’s First Urban Wellness Hot Spring
The fifth floor features Cheongsudang, an outdoor bath facility that resembles those found in Japan. As you sit in the hot springs, you can see the sea off the shore of Busan beyond the steam from the bath and the bamboo leaves. Visitors in bathrobes can dip their feet into the bath, while those in swimsuits can fully immerse themselves.
Since the Silla period, Busan’s Dongnae and Haeundae have been known for their hot springs. ClubD Oasis draws its water from the Haeundae Hot Springs, which are rich in chlorine, calcium, sodium, and potassium—minerals said to improve blood circulation, arthritis, and skin health. This mineral-rich water is used in ClubD Oasis’s Cheongsudang, Jacuzzi facilities, and sauna. Thanks to these features, ClubD Oasis was designated as a national wellness hot spring this year.
The sauna occupies the entire sixth floor, offering great views of Haeundae. ClubD Oasis has themed its sauna after a sand desert. It consists of five sauna rooms: the Salt Room, Cypress Room, Red Clay Room, Elvan Room, and Ice Room. Be sure to check out the “Myun Yeok Gong Bang VIP” program. At first glance, the stone spa room seems to have a typical stone floor, but the stone structure here features wave stones that make wave therapy possible. Lie down on the wave stone surface, heated to a gentle temperature (45-47°C), and let the wave therapy expel toxins from your body. It’s recommended to follow the instructions and repeat the therapy three times. Each session lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, and because the therapy program involves heavy sweating, participants must hydrate between sessions.
Yoga and Surfing in a Sauna
The front of the sauna features a terrace with an expansive view of the sea. Here, you’ll find the outdoor hot spring foot bath and dry sauna cabins. The space evokes the feel of Nordic saunas, but with a twist: the glass doors prevent you from feeling too enclosed.
ClubD Oasis also offers various wellness programs. The terrace, for instance, hosts yoga and Pilates sessions. Lie down on a yoga mat, close your eyes, and let the sea breeze caress your face. This serene setting has helped the yoga program build a robust reputation through word-of-mouth. Another package offers a surfing and hot springs experience in conjunction with Surf Holic Busan. This program includes two hours of surfing lessons followed by a relaxing hot spring session.
Wellness Program
Wellness programs at ClubD Oasis incorporate sports for a more active experience. The spa and yoga/Pilates program is held every Tuesday at 14:00. The Sunset Yoga program, held every Friday and Saturday at 17:00, is particularly popular for its stunning view of Haeundae’s sunset. Each session is limited to 25 participants, and reservations can be made online or onsite. The surfing program, developed in conjunction with Surf Holic, is ideal for those seeking a more active experience. This wellness tourist package combines two hours of surfing lessons with waterpark and hot springs access. Sign up for the program on Naver, the ClubD Oasis website, or onsite at ClubD Oasis or Surf Holic.

Slide between the Sky and the Sea at Haeundae Blueline Park
The view of the train running perilously along the edge of a cliff can be quite dizzying from the outside, but inside the train, you get a panoramic view of Busan’s blue seas and skies, changing every second. Haeundae Blueline Park, a tourist train service, has become one of Busan’s popular attractions, connecting Haeundae’s Mipo Station, Cheongsapo Station, and Songjeong Station via a 4.8km-long track. The Beach Train runs along the beautiful coast of Busan, while the Sky Capsule glides automatically along a rail 7 to 10 meters above ground. Choose between the two services and be sure to disembark at each station to enjoy the stunning views.
Take a Walk under the Moonlight at Haeundae Dalmaji Road
Haeundae’s Dalmaji Road is one of the most popular tourist spots in Busan, known as one of the Eight Views of Busan and the “best place to enjoy the view of the moon in the evening”. The blue sea, long white sandy beaches, camellia and pine forests, and the addition of picturesque cafés have earned it the nickname "Busan's Montmartre". For walkers, there are two routes: the sunny Suntan Road and the Moontan Road, which winds through the pine forest under the moonlight. The highlight of the Road is Haewoljeong Pavilion, offering an unmissable view, especially of the moon. According to local legend, those who see the light of the first full moon of the year from the pavilion will realize their romantic wishes, making it a popular destination for couples.
