    The building’s walls are painted white, beautifully contrasting with the deep brown pillars and exposed rafters. The clean exterior gives it a distinct hanok feel, rather than just being another accommodation. stay mulgyeol features both a courtyard and a backyard. The latter is larger, more private, and includes a fire pit for your relaxation.

    The building features a living room with a built-in kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The interior maintains the same color scheme as the exterior. Upon entering the house, you are greeted with a view of the living room facing the rear wall of the house, which is furnished as a window wall overlooking the backyard. The sofa in the living room is also arranged to face the backyard. While the kitchen is not designed for cooking, it has enough utensils to enjoy delivery food or take-outs.

    The Jacuzzi in the bathroom is large enough to accommodate 2 to 3 children at once. Another delightful feature is the view of the yard through the small windows. The bathroom also includes a shower booth and a wash basin, adding both convenience and elegance to the design, allowing multiple users at the same time.

    Hoyeondam

    Hoyeondam is a hanok accommodation located in Sinsau-dong, in northern Chuncheon. While Sinsau-dong is a rapidly developing residential district, it still retains much of its green space, and Hoyeondam is nestled among rice paddies and fields. The road in front of the house is quite charming, resembling a well-maintained country road.

    Hoyeondam is a hanok building constructed in 1945 and refurbished with contemporary sensibilities for modern accommodations. What distinguishes Hoyeondam from other hanok stays is its size: it has total land area of 860 m2 with a building area of 105 m2. This spacious layout allows Hoyeondam’s gardens to incorporate multiple themes and forms. The building itself is divided into the bonchae (main building) and byeolchae (annex).

    Hoyeondam’s interior resembles an art gallery, especially in how it integrates the unique features of hanok with the artful arrangement and furnishing of its interior space.

    Hoyeondam has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating two to five guests at a time. The bathrooms, and especially the Jacuzzi, resemble those found in premium hotels. Taking a lower-body bath in the Jacuzzi while enjoying the view outside through the window wall is a unique experience with a lasting memory.

    Dakgalbi - Todam Charcoal Grilled Dakgalbi

    For Koreans, “dakgalbi” is synonymous with Chuncheon, and Chuncheon is synonymous with dakgalbi. When it comes to this spicy chicken dish, there are two variations in Chuncheon: the spicy stir-fried chicken, made on a griddle, and charcoal-grilled spicy chicken. The latter is what’s served at Todam Charcoal Grilled Dakgalbi. Located in Sinbuk-eup in northern Chuncheon, Todam Charcoal Grilled Dakgalbi specializes in charcoal-grilled spicy chicken, offering it in three flavors: soy sauce, red chili paste-based sauce, and salt. With a spacious parking lot and outdoor seating, you can enjoy your meal peacefully at Todam. Note, however, that the restaurant is tends to get quite crowded on weekends.

    Gubongsan Café Street and Santorini

    Gubongsan Mountain, located to the east of Chuncheon, offers a fantastic view of the city center. It’s also home to Gubongsan Café Street. What started with just one or two cafés has grown into a collection of top Korean coffee brands. Another popular spot on Gubongsan Café Street is the Santorini café observatory.
