  • Calling a cab is now easier than ever for international residents and travelers in Korea with k.ride, the latest taxi-hailing app launched by Kakao Mobility, the company of Kakao T. Users can easily sign up to the app by using their Google or Apple account or verifying their mobile number or email address. The app also provides estimated taxi fare based on destination and accepts payment through international credit cards.    

    Currently, the app is available in English, Japanese, and Chinese and has plans to expand its multilingual support. The app also offers auto-translation in 100 different languages for destination search and live chat with the driver.    

    k.ride app is now available for download in 14 countries, including the United States, Japan, and Singapore. Kakao Mobility plans to make k.ride accessible in 30 different countries and expand the market to establish a convenient and user-friendly global platform by integrating mobility services around the world.
