Booking train tickets, once a challenge for international visitors, has become much easier thanks to support for multiple languages and a wider range of payment options. With the launch of Klook’s train booking service, users can now view and reserve tickets for routes across Korea in real time via both web and mobile app. Another key improvement is allowing international travelers to board using only a mobile voucher, eliminating the need for a separate ticketing step. In addition, Korail has continued to expand its distribution network through platforms such as Trip.com, WeChat, and Alipay.

To make the journey even more rewarding, a range of special perks is also available. Starting May 4, the Korea Tourism Organization is offering an instant 6,000 won discount coupon to the first 5,000 customers who book train tickets through Klook. Korail also provides a complimentary “Rail Plus” prepaid transportation card preloaded with 5,000 won, while Klook offers a free travel eSIM, enhancing convenience across both transportation and connectivity.
