From late March into early April, the weather in Korea turns mild, and the city begins to shift with the season. Cherry blossoms start to appear, and familiar streets take on a different pace. Around the 'it' spots, there are often small shops and cafés tucked in between, easy to spend few hours wandering, taking in the season.

Yeouido Yunjungno Cherry Blossom Walkway
Yunjungno walkway in Yeouido is one of Seoul's best-known cherry blossom spots, set near the Hangang River and a number of places to stop along the way.
Follow the path around the National Assembly grounds, where rows of large cherry trees forms one of the city's most established blossom-viewing areas.

Café Gangbyeon Seojae
Located just across from the cherry blossom road, Gangbyeon Seojae is a café with large windows overlooking both the river and the surrounding trees.

Yeonnamdong Cherry Blossom House
On the other side of the city, Yeonnam-dong offers a different pace.
The streets here are narrow, lined with small shops and cafés. In spring, cherry blossoms apprear in between them rather than all at once. Yeonnamdong Cherry Blossom House sits along Yeonnam-dong cherry blossom street, centered around a courtyard with a large cherry tree.
When petals start to fall, guests naturally drift outside, drinks and desserts in hand, staying for the atmosphere as much as anything else.
