  Hansarang Hospital is an accredited institution of the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW). We received the certificate with respect to patient safety, health care services and many excellent services and chosen by MOHW as a Surgically Specialized Hospital for four consecutive times. Hansarang Hospital has many specialists in breast, thyroid, stomach, colon, rectum, gallbladder, hernia, varicose veins, and burns, providing specialized treatment. We have the following three missions. We aim to be the best surgical specialty hospital in Korea and make efforts to create a hospital where patients and employees are happy. Our fundamental goal is to make a hospital that serves the community.

  April 22, 2011: Opened Hansarang Hospital December 18, 2013: Established a medical corporation, Seojeon Medical Foundation December 20, 2013: Certified as Green grade from the Evergreen Environmental Certification System March 1, 2014: Designated as a colonoscopy training hospital by the Korean Society of Coloproctology August 7, 2014: Certified as a medical institution by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for 1st cycle January 1, 2015: Designated as a surgical specialty hospital by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for 2nd cycle January 1, 2018: Designated as a surgical specialty hospital by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for 3rd cycle August 20, 2018: Certified as a medical institution by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for 2nd cycle January 1, 2021: Designated as a surgical specialty hospital by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for 3rd cycle June 31, 2022: Recorded 18,000 cases of single-port laparoscopic surgeries August 20, 2022: Certified as a medical institution by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for 3rd cycle January 1, 2024: Designated as a surgical specialty hospital by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for 5th cycle
