  Opened as Seongsim Hospital, a subsidiary of the Korea Institute of Medical Sciences in 1968 1970: Reorganized as a subsidiary hospital of Chung-Ang University College of Medicine 2014: Signed an agreement for the hospital designated for the Embassy of Russia to the Republic of Korea 2015: Won an award in the international healthcare service segment and a citation from the Prime Minister at "2015 Medical Korea" 2016: Received a citation from the Minister of Health and Welfare as a medical institution for transplantation 2018: Received the Minister of Health and Welfare award at Medical Korea 2018, the Social Contribution Award by the Vietnamese government; Ranked first in five segments at the 2017 Patients’ Experience Evaluation on Medical Services 2019: Signed an MOU between the Chung-Ang University Healthcare System and Astana Medical University (Kazakhstan) 2019: Succeeded in 3D-printed sternum transplant consecutively for the first time in Korea 2020: Designated as a “safe hospital” regarding COVID-19 2022: Established Chung-Ang University Gwangmyeong Hospital
