    강릉단오제는 유네스코 인류무형문화유산이자 천년의 전통을 이어온 대한민국 대표 전통축제로, 매년 50만 명 이상의 관광객이 찾는 국내 대표 문화관광축제이다. 2026 강릉단오제는 <풀리니, 단오다>를 주제로 6월 15일부터 6월 22일까지 8일간 강릉시 일원에서 개최된다.

    강릉단오제는 전통 문화의 정수인 제례를 비롯해 신과 사람이 소통하는 굿판, 그리고 전국 최대 규모의 난장이 어우러지는 종합 축제로, 국가 지정 문화유산 행사와 시민참여 프로그램, 민속놀이 등 총 13개 분야 71개의 다채로운 프로그램이 운영된다.
    특히 올해는 ‘풀림’이라는 주제 아래, 일상의 근심과 액운을 내려놓고 서로의 마음과 관계가 자연스럽게 풀리는 축제의 본질적 가치를 강조하며, 강릉단오제가 지닌 공동체성과 치유의 의미를 국내외에 널리 알릴 계획이다.
