    거제옥포대첩축제는 1592년 임진왜란 승전인 옥포대첩을 기념하는 호국문화예술 축제로 매년 6월 중순 개최된다. 기념식을 비롯하여 제례봉행, 뮤지컬 옥포해전&해상불꽃전투, 승전행차 가장행렬, 블랙이글스 공연, 폐막불꽃행사 등 다채로운 문화예술행사가 진행되며, 그 외 마술, 비눗방울쇼 등 다양한 부대행사 및 볼거리 제공으로 지역대표 문화축제로 자리매김 하고 있다.
