    Introduction
    Located approximately 54 kilometers from Seoul City Hall, Imjingak is a part of Korean history. The three-story building was built in 1972 for displaced people, however it has now become a tourist attraction. The Unification Park displays the importance of peace and the environment. Imjingak Resort has several monuments such as the Baengmagoji Station, Diplomatic Martyrs Memorial Tower, Mangbaedan Alter, Freedom Bridge, a pond in the shape of the Korean peninsula, Peace Bell, and the Monument Dedicated to the US Military. Every year many events for unification are held at Imjingak. It is now one of the more famous DMZ tourist spots for foreigners because it is possible to visit without going through any security check points. Recently, a small playground facility with rides opened for children.
    Pyeonghoa-nuri Park has a grass hill and outdoor stage for various performances that can seat 20,000 visitors called the Hill of Music. There is a donation program that gives to children all over the world through UNICEF at the Candlelight Pavilion. The Monuments for Unification displays messages for unification and is also a donation program for children in North Korea. Cafe Annyeong is decorated to represent the different cultures in the world and provides a resting area for visitors.
    The Gyeonggi Peace Center is divided into five sectors and helps deliver the message of peace.
