1 / 10The Muju Firefly Festival is one of Korea’s leading environmental festivals, themed around fireflies, a designated Natural Monument in Korea, and Muju’s pristine natural environment. Held throughout Muju-gun each year from around late August to early September, the festival offers visitors a special opportunity to see fireflies glowing in the wild and appreciate the value of nature and the importance of preserving the ecological environment. During the festival, visitors can enjoy a wide range of ecological and environmental activities, traditional cultural events, performances, and nighttime attractions.
