Busan’s rich history at Nokcheon Hotel, the final destination of healing trips and trips with friends!
When you walk down Footbath Alley with hot steam, in Dongnae-gu, Busan, you will find Nokcheon Hotel. Nokcheon Hotel, which has been managed by three generations, started as Nokcheon Public Bathhouse established in 1962. In the 1970s, it introduced the concept of “family baths” for the first time as a public bath. And in the 1980s, the hotel was established with hot spring at each room. Since hot springs could only be enjoyed at public baths at the time, the hotel was very popular among people who did not feel comfortable sharing a bathtub with others or who wanted to enjoy the hot spring with their family.
Following his grandfather's wish to make the hot spring good for the body so that more people can enjoy it, Park Chungyeol is faithfully managing the hotel. All 80 rooms of Nokcheon Hotel have a family bath with hot spring water.
According to Samguk Yusa, Prime Minister Chungwongong bathed in a hot spring in Dongnae-hyeon during the reign of Silla's King Sinmun. Dongnae Hot Springs has long been famous for its water quality. Among the hot springs, legend has it that Nokcheon Public Bathhouse was founded upon the discovery of a warm spring after digging up the spot on which a white deer came and slept. Rich in magnesium and chlorine ions, the slightly salty spring water is especially good for neuralgia and disorders from skin to gastrointestinal and gynecological.
When you enter the bathroom, a small private bath is waiting for you. From the deep and wide bathtub to the bath chair and large soap, the bathroom looks just like the bathhouse we know. It also has hot and cold water faucets. When you turn on the faucet, water pours out. It takes only three minutes to fill a large bathtub with water. When you get into the warm, soft water, it will relax your mind as well as body.
All rooms at the hotel offer the charm of a private bath. The Family Room is popular among young visitors who travel with their friends as well as families as the room has two adjacent hot tubs where guests can enjoy the hot spring with two different temperatures, each suitable for children and adults. Guests who like the water cold and those who like it hot can enjoy their bath together. The Family Kids' Room has a large bath where children can play in and an extra-large room with a play facility.
The room provides outstanding comfort. The interior of the room is stylish and neat thanks to our effort to keep the place clean. White and crisp bedding and cozy bed warmly wrap your body after a relaxing hot spring bath. You can enjoy the sheet mask lying down side by side with your friends as well. A sheet mask after a hot spring bath makes healing more delightful. The room has hair dryer and clean towels. You don’t have to worry about cleanliness as the entire hotel is disinfected twice a day.
You can use the massage chair in the lounge on the 1st floor. If you need a beverage to quench your thirst after taking a hot spring bath or sweet snacks to eat while chatting with your friends and family, visit the convenience store on the 1st floor.
