Yongduam-gil, Jeju-si, Jeju-do
Both Yongyeon Pond and Yongudam Rock (Dragon Head Rock) have a legend about a dragon, probably because of their mysterious landscape. Oddly-shaped rocks, clear turquoise waters, and the beautiful red pavilion seen from the bridge over the pond resemble a beautiful oriental painting. The dragon head shape of Yongduam Rock, which stands on an ocean cliff, can be seen best from the side.
Haenyeos, or female divers, slice freshly caught seafood in front of your eyes. Sit on a rock and enjoy the fresh taste of seafood while listening to the sound of the waves.
A dish of Jeju wild seafood (sea cucumbers (stichopus japonicus), horned turbans, octopus): approx. 20,000 – 30,000 won

The jjimjilbang sauna is surrounded by an exotic atmosphere, where an unhampered ocean view and palm trees can be seen from the window. If you want to relax and enjoy Jeju’s blue ocean, visit Yongdam Café Street or Hoetjip Street near the Yongdam Coastal Road. There is a café noted for its Hallasan bingsu, a shaved ice dessert that resembles Hallasan Mountain covered with snow. There are also many cafés selling other unique desserts. Located next to the café street, the raw fish restaurants on Hoetjip Street offer mainly two options: a set menu with sliced raw fish along with various seafood dishes, or the cost-effective sliced raw fish.
